We take a break from our 2005 43 Ocean Super Sport to fish with my dear friends/family Tommy and Tom Senior (aka Santiago) on their 31 Cape Horn rocket ship.
Joining us is another of my crew and family member....video doesn't do him justice but you've seen him in prior videos!!! PA DAVE....ie Cold Cracker!!
We take the 31 Cape Horn way north about 63 miles and land 1 nice BF and one nice YF, breaking one off at the boat to which i can only chalk up to bad luck and hundreds of perfectly gaffed fish.
Despite my confidence in my Aftco Fiberglass gaff we break it on a sizeable yellowfin tuna. Never ever seen that before
