Profile:
Temidayo Omoniyi is a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, and Data Scientist with over 2 years combined experience in both data science and data analysis with a key interest in extracting business insights and driving productivity.
He has been involved in many volunteer activities such as Data Science Team Lead for Data Science Nigeria (AI+ FUTA) and training over 1,000 undergraduates. He has also represented and won many Data Science and Artificial Intelligence awards.
He is skilled in different analytic tools like Python, Excel, Matlab, PowerBI, SQL, and R. He collaborated with a team of both medical students and engineers during the peak of Covid-19 in creating a faster method in the diagnosis of Covid-19 using an Artificial Intelligence-based model.
He is a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering. He is passionate about integrating both engineering and data together which is why he plans to earn a master’s degree in Smart Grid Systems.
