Staggering though it may be to believe, but the Express is expecting us to accept that George Eustice, despite proof of his understanding of the major impact to the British fishing industry economy, is claiming he didn’t or couldn’t understand how Brexit would affect the business in 2021. Should we allow our leaders to continue to try to get away with the lack of preparation or be forgiven for having little or no warning about what was about to unfold? Why do we still expect them to be capable of running large public service departments.
