We Are Not Saved By Works -
Philippians 2:13 For it is (God who works in You) to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose/fruit - Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared beforehand - 2 people cannot work at the same job. Only God is at work in the life of a true born again Christian and we have a responsibility to abide/stay/continue in Christ or wander away and go back to the (works of darkness) or the lusts of the flesh which will lead to the broad gate - which leads to hell/lake of fire.
To Those Who Think Obedience To Jesus Christ - Is Evil & Wrong If you believe that loving obedience to Jesus automatically means that a person is trying to earn their salvation then you have fallen for a massive deception and are blinded to the truth. True Christians follow Jesus because (we love him!) True followers of Jesus persevere to - "Turn Away From Sin" Because (we love him!) We strive and persevere to "Abide" in him and "Obey" his commands and teachings. We do this because (we love Him!)The bible has given hundreds of exhortations and admonitions that teach all christians how to live their lives.
