From 14 Sep, seniors 60 and above, and residents of aged care facilities will be invited to receive their booster dose. Moderately to severely immunocompromised persons are also encouraged to receive a third dose of the same mRNA vaccine, after consulting their treating specialist.
SMSes will be sent out progressively to those eligible to make an appointment for their shots.
Minister for Health Ong Ye Kung gave these updates at a Multi-Ministry Taskforce press conference on 10 September 2021.
