Government blasts security for crude arrest of academic

A day after his release from military detention, Information Minister Dr Chris Baryomunsi has also joined the chorus of voices criticising the brutal arrest of Victoria University Vice-Chancellor Dr Lawrence Muganga by security officials. For the first time since the events in question, Dr Muganga has also come out to thank his family and friends for standing by him, before also calling for more training for the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence on the handling of civil arrests.
