Demonstration against Government raises concerns over issues including the EU treaty & GHA

Demonstrators marching with a group calling itself "Enough is Enough" handed a letter to the Chief Minister outside Number Six on Monday evening, calling for a change to Fabian Picardo's style of Government.

Among the issues raised was the setting up of a free phone line for GHA appointments, and a commitment to put any treaty agreed between the UK and the EU on Gibraltar, to a referendum, should it fail to be ratified unanimously by Parliament. However, Community Care, public services and youth employment were among many of the concerns raised by the protesters.

The Royal Gibraltar Police put numbers at between 250-300: however, the organisers claim it was closer to 500.
