Temple Station Investigators will ask for the public’s assistance in locating Mariano Coc, a 16 year old male Hispanic, who has been missing from his residence in South El Monte since Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Mariano is also a person of interest in a fatal hit and run incident that occurred in the city of Rosemead. At approximately 10:30 AM on Monday, November 8, 2021, a suspect, who was driving a black 2009 Nissan Altima, struck a 61 year old Asian male on San Gabriel Blvd, south of Garvey Ave, and fled the scene. The male victim unfortunately succumbed to his injuries days later.
Detectives will ask for any information leading to Mariano’s whereabouts, as he could possibly be a potential victim of another crime or might have information about the fatal hit and run incident.
