Jean-Marc Puissesseau, the head of Calais Port, argued that when the United Kingdom exited the European Union, ministers in London should pay for car inspections en route to the United Kingdom. According to the port's director, his team inspects 900,000 vehicles a year, all of which are headed to the United Kingdom.
