The La Palma / Cumbre Vieja eruption is now in its 59th day. Today's main news is that a strong earthquake occurred alongside the expansion of a new lava delta. Also, there is finally some good news. The overall eruption is truly in its waning stages of activity, and is likely to end in the next several weeks. With this being said, if the eruption continues for another 6 days, it will be longer than the 1677-1678 eruption of La Palma. This video will discuss what is likely to happen next as this Spanish Canary Island volcano.
