In this video, I will show you the best text to speech converter that you can use for your Youtube videos and walk you through the steps on how to use them for FREE.
Whether English is not your native language, or you are shy and do not want to show your face, or simply that your voice doesn't sound good when narrating for your videos, text to speech would be your option. You get plenty of voice variations and accent to choose from. However, such software that sounds natural are not free and you are required to pay a monthly or yearly subscription fees to use them. The free version with limited choice of voices and text characters per use, would normally sound like a robot.
Don't worry, I will share with you 2 Text To Speech softwares you could use for free with a very natural-sounding voice-over. The first software is called IBM Watson Text to speech Demo. This software is actually not free, but you can use the free version to generate as much text to speech for your project without any restrictions to the number of characters per conversion. You can choose the types of language, dialect, and gender for your text. You can also adjust the speed and pitch according to your preference. Simply type or import your text in the column here. Once done, press play voice to generate and listen. You might have to tweak your writings like adding commas of full stop to adjust the flow of text being read so that it sounds more natural.
The second software is called Animaker. This software allows you to do more than text to voice. It also enables you to create animated videos. Since our focus here today is for text to voice application, after you have registered and logged in, simply go to voiceover. Select the gender, language, and voice that suits you, and type in or import your text from your file and paste it in the column here. You can add in breaks and breath to make it sound more natural. Once done, press preview to listen.
