
Now that nightlife is returning to normal, an alarming number of young women are reporting being drugged by assailants. So-called ‘needle spiking’ happens when unsuspecting victims are pricked with syringes containing date-rape drugs. Drinks can also be laced with drugs. Lisa Guerrero reports that with more people out and about, officials are sounding the alarm. Inside Edition safety consultant Steve Kardian says spikers will use all sorts of tricks to drug a drink.
