Trimming a Large Stoneware Vase (#Shorts)

Trimming a Large Stoneware Vase (#Shorts)

Finishing a large stoneware vessel thrown in two parts. Once trimmed this pot will be allowed to slowly try out to bone dry, it'll then be bisque fired, glazed and glaze fired again in my gas kiln to 1290ºc.

I'll be making a much longer film soon about throwing all the different components and assembling the vases from beginning to end. Now I just need to figure out a way to glaze them neatly.

As I always say in these descriptions, these short videos are just a tiny portion of the content I upload on YouTube. If you'd prefer to watch longer, more in-depth and informative films that are narrated, I upload those too to this channel.

Thanks for watching!
