Roadside fuel issues gave me the opportunity to walk through the troubleshooting and diagnostic process...which I hope is helpful to others.
I share the diagnostic steps and my thought process as I work through fixing a fuel delivery problem on a Cat 3208 diesel engine. I started with the most common, and simple, problem and eventually got to the right culprit...which turned out to be a bad ground wire.
This roadside trouble happened in our Ford truck, but the same steps generally apply to any diesel-powered truck, RV, skoolie, or coach.
