Ukrainians shoot down Russian Kamikaze Drone from Iran trying to attack Mykolaiv

This footage shows a Ukrainian air defence system firing a missile that reportedly took down an Iranian kamikaze drone used by the Russians in an attempt to attack Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine.

The footage was obtained from the Ukrainian 'Centre' Air Command on Sunday, 25th September, along with a statement saying: "'Shahed-136 kamikaze drone destroyed!"

The Air Command added: "Today, 25th September, at around 3:00 p.m., combat service personnel of the anti-aircraft missile regiment of the 'Centre' Air Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who perform combat missions under the operational subordination of the 'South' Air Command, destroyed a Shahed-136 kamikaze drone, which the Russian occupation forces tried to use to attack Mykolaiv.

"Believe in the Armed Forces! Glory to Ukraine and its defenders!"

The images and statement were also relayed by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
