Hyland’s physicality throughout the film is inspiring and he doesn’t hold back, giving his body over to us for our own amusement. It’s worth mentioning that Hyland also plays the role of the narrator, which would surprise audiences upon reading the credits. Both roles are immensely contrasted and work seamlessly with each other... The Impatient (Man Who Made His Life Considerably Shorter) is guaranteed to get laughs in front of any audience. It’s both absurd and joyously pure comedy with an excellent performance from James Hyland... If you have the chance to see this film, do it. You won’t be disappointed."
