Police watched how the Merseyside drugs gang operated as part of Operation Kaleidoscope and calculated that the operation's hotline would have as many as 357 calls a day

The organized crime gang is known to drug users in Blackpool as 'Scouse Macca' and was responsible for 18,000 separate deals in less than six months.

Members of the gang were responsible for supplying vast amounts of Class A drugs in Blackpool.
