A new rapid test could determine how well-protected a person is against COVID-19 in as little as 10 minutes. Researchers say it paves the way for a more accurate sense of herd immunity in communities. The test involves mixing a drop of blood with a solution, dripping it onto a paper strip and then reading the result on a portable device. Dr Jia Huan, Postdoctoral Associate, Antimicrobial Resistance Research Group, at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology, shared more details about the test.
